Atletico kidnaps a Real player

A Spanish newspaper reported that Atletico Madrid is seeking to sign Dani Ceballos (27 years old), the Real Madrid star, to strengthen the midfield position.

An interview took place between Ceballos' father last year and officials from Atletico Madrid, in order to convince him to have his son join the team, but the matter ended with his contract with Real Madrid being renewed.

Because of his long sitting on the bench, Atletico Madrid became a good option for Ceballos, because he will be able to play for a longer time.

A source close to the player stated that there is a prior agreement between him and Atletico Madrid, but the final say will inevitably be held by Real Madrid’s management, given that the player’s contract extends for two years.
