Anadolu Efes signs Rolands Smits

Anadolu Efes Istanbul Basketball Club announced the signing of Lithuanian player Rolands Smets for two seasons, after terminating his contract by mutual consent with Lithuanian club Zalgiris Kaunas.

Smits, 28, is known for his defensive abilities and rebounding skills. Smits has played for Zalgiris Kaunas for the past four seasons, helping the team win the Lithuanian League title in 2021 and 2022.

Smits is the third player to join Anadolu Efes Istanbul during the current summer transfer window, following Ivan Marinovic and Altan Altanoglu.

Anadolu Efes Istanbul are looking to achieve more success in the upcoming season, by strengthening their ranks with talented players like Smits.
