Serious injury to Hungary player

The Hungarian Football Federation confirmed that the national team player, Barnabas Varga, "regained consciousness" and was urgently transferred to the hospital, and his condition is now stable and under medical control.

Varga had a strong collision with Scotland goalkeeper Angus Gunn in the match that ended with a last-gasp goal for Hungary at Euro 2024.

This collision required urgent intervention from the paramedics who tried to save him, while the Hungarian players covered their colleague with a large blanket to prevent seeing the injury, which appeared severe and serious.
