Hamburg session cancelled

It was decided to move the Hamburg Women's Tennis Championship to other venues in 2024, following the cancellation of the combined men's and women's tournament.

Instead of holding the tournament at the Im Rothenbaum Arena, the Hamburg Women's Championship will be moved to the Stadtpark stadium at the THC von Horth & Hamm facility, tournament organizers announced.

According to some agencies, the 250 points tournament will be held during the period from July 15 to 26, in the period between the Wimbledon Championship and the Olympic tennis competitions in Paris, which are held on the clay courts of Roland Garros, but the exact dates for the Hamburg Championship have not yet been determined.

The temporary stadium in Hamburg City Park can accommodate 2,000 people, which is much less than the capacity of the Im Rothenbaum Stadium, which hosts the annual Hamburg men's tennis tournament.
