The relationship between midfielder Luis Alberto (31 years old) and the Italian club Lazio reached a dead end, after the Spaniard announced his decision to leave the team at the end of the season.

The crisis erupted after Lazio lost to Juventus in the Italian Cup semi-finals and lost to Roma, and despite the great victory over Salernitana, with a score of 4-1, this did not help with the team’s situation.

Several "banners" were hung inside the stadium asking the player to leave and accusing him of disloyalty, in which the player called on his club's management to release him from his contract, which extends until 2027, in exchange for him giving up all his dues.

On the other hand, an Italian newspaper reported that a Saudi club was serious about offering the player a contract for a period of 5 years, with a salary estimated at 6 million euros per year, and also paid 15 million euros to Lazio.

It is noteworthy that the player participated in 39 matches this season, scoring 4 goals and making 8 assists.
