Al Hilal is champion of the Ministry of Sports Basketball Cup

Al Hilal Saudi Basketball Team was crowned champion of the Ministry of Sports Cup for the first time in its history, after defeating its counterpart Al-Ittihad with a score of 90-84 in the final match that was held in the Ministry of Sports Hall in Medina.

The match witnessed strong competition between the two teams from the beginning, as Al Hilal was able to decide the first quarter in its favor by 9 points (21-30). Al Hilal continued to control the match in the second and third quarters, as the difference expanded to 12 points (46-48) at the end of the second quarter, and 14 points (62-76) at the end of the third quarter.

Al-Ittihad tried to come back in the fourth quarter, and was able to reduce the difference to 6 points (84-88) in the last two minutes of the match. But Al Hilal withstood Al-Ittihad’s pressure and maintained its lead to be crowned champion of the competition.
