Barcelona officially announces the signing of Williams

Spanish club Barcelona announced the signing of English defender Tyrion Williams from Aston Villa.

Williams, 24, has signed a five-year contract with the Blaugrana for a fee of £58m.
Williams was one of Barcelona's main targets in the current summer transfer window, having impressed for Aston Villa last season, helping them finish sixth in the Premier League.

Williams is capable of playing at centre-back or right-back and is expected to be a strong addition to Barcelona's defence.

Williams is expected to take part in Barcelona's pre-season tour.
With this deal, Barcelona has significantly strengthened its defense line.
