World cyclist champion accused of murder

Former Australian cycling world champion Rohan Dennis is awaiting the decision of an Adelaide court next March. After being accused of causing the death of his wife, Olympic cyclist Melissa Hoskins.
Hoskins (32 years old), who represented Australia at the London Olympics in 2012 and Rio de Janeiro in 2016, was killed after being involved in a traffic accident, when she was hit by a car while she was with Dennis. The court had accused him of being the one who caused her death as a result of his dangerous and reckless driving.
He was later released on bail, awaiting sentencing.
