Belmdhi resigns from coaching the Algerian national team

Algeria's coach, Djamel Belmadi, announced his resignation with the national team, especially after the disappointing results in the African Cup of Nations, where he failed to qualify for the second round of the tournament.
The point that won the cup was his team's defeat against Mauritania (0-1), a result that eliminated them from the first round of this tournament.

Belmadi, who has been in office since August 2018, informed his players of his intention to resign, justifying his departure due to the bad results and the players’ lack of response to his plans and directions.
