British media reported that Mauricio Pochettino left his position as Chelsea coach by mutual consent between the two parties after one season as coach of the club.
Pochettino joined Chelsea for the 2023-2024 season when he replaced interim coach Frank Lampard, as the club's new owners Todd Pulley and the Clearlake Capital Group were looking to give the team a morale boost after the team finished 12th in the previous season.
Although Chelsea started the season poorly despite spending more than any club in Europe, Pochettino was able to lead the London club to sixth place in the English Premier League standings.
