Pirami scores fastest goal in Euro

Albanian striker Nadiem Birami scored the fastest goal in European Championship history when he netted against defending champions Italy after 23 seconds of their match at Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund in the first round of Group B matches.
The previous record was held by Russia's Dmitry Kirichenko, who opened the scoring against Greece after 67 seconds on June 20, 2004 in Portugal during Euro 2004.
