Real Madrid compensation

FIFA will pay 400,000 euros in compensation to Real Madrid for the injury of their star Vinicius Junior.
Vinicius suffered an injury with the Brazilian national team in the match against Colombia last November.
The amount that the International Federation will pay is in implementation of the Club Protection Law, which stipulates that they will be compensated on the basis of the player’s fixed salary in the event that he is injured during the match and absent for more than 28 consecutive days, noting that FIFA compensates clubs for every injured player 28 days after his injury.
FIFA pays the clubs financial compensation amounting to a maximum of 7 million and 500 thousand euros, and the amount is calculated on the basis of a daily compensation amounting to 20 thousand and 548 euros, with a maximum period of 365 days.
