Tottenham may agree to sell Romero

Press reports revealed that Tottenham defender Cristian Romero has entered the circle of interest of Real Madrid, in preparation for an attempt to sign him during the current summer transfer period.
According to these reports, Real Madrid's management decided to monitor the Argentine defender's performance during the Copa America tournament this summer, before entering into negotiations to sign him.
The report indicated that Real Madrid's management is targeting the signing of Romero to strengthen the team's defense position, in light of Nacho's imminent departure and David Alaba's continued injury.
The report added that Real Madrid's management knows that signing Romero will not be easy, given Tottenham's management's insistence on the player and will not let him go easily, after the distinguished level he showed last season.
It is worth noting that Cristian Romero, 26, joined Tottenham in the summer of 2021, coming from Atalanta in the summer of 2022 for 52 million euros, and his contract expires in 2027.
