Thompson wins his first title

Australian Jordan Thompson won the Los Cabos Mexican Tennis Championship, after defeating Norwegian Casper Ruud 6-3, 7-6 in the final match.
This was Thompson's third final on the WTA Tour.
This is the first title for Thompson, who will jump to 32nd place in the world rankings that will be issued by the World Association of Professional Tennis Players next week.
