Borussia Dortmund have completed their coaching staff after appointing Nuri Sahin as head coach to replace Edin Terzic, with Lukasz Piszczek becoming the new assistant.
The club announced that Piszczek, who previously worked as a player-coach at LKS Goczałkowice-Zdrój Football Club, will be part of the coaching staff alongside João Tralhão and Ertugrul Arslan, the two of whom previously worked with Şahin at Turkish club Antalyaspor, before joining Dortmund as Terzic's assistants in January. Meanwhile, Sven Bender and Sebastian Gebert will leave the club at the end of the month.
The club's sporting director, Lars Ricken, stated that the aim of this appointment is to provide a trio that represents a variety of skills and new ideas that will help achieve success with Nuri Sahin.
It is noteworthy that Bandar was unable to continue in the German League due to personal circumstances, as stated in the club's statement.
