Juventus dealt a strong blow to Manchester United, which wanted to sign Bologna coach Thiago Motta as a replacement for Dutchman Erik Ten Hag next summer.
Juventus sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli had reached an almost final agreement with Motta to succeed Massimiliano Allegri.
She indicated that Giuntoli wants to start the new season with a coach who loves his tactical ideas, in addition to his appreciation for young players, such as Thiago Motta.
A source close to the old lady announced that Motta may transfer players Calafiore and Ferguson with him from Bologna next season.
