The winner of the final match of the Egypt Cup, scheduled to be held during the Riyadh season in Saudi Arabia on the eighth of next March, will receive $950,000 after the prize value was increased by $500,000.
The winner was supposed to receive $450,000, $100,000 for participation and $350,000 if he won the title, before Chancellor Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, announced the award of an additional prize of half a million dollars to the champion.
The Egypt Cup final will be held between the two poles of Egyptian football, Al-Ahly and Zamalek, in Riyadh on the eighth of next March. This will be the first match in the history of the Egypt Cup to be held outside the country, while Egyptian Super Cup matches have previously been held seven times in the Emirates.
