Several German newspapers reported that Stuttgart striker Serho Guerrassi may not continue with his team next season, amid Borussia Dortmund's interest in including him.
The Guinean striker had a wonderful season in the German League and ranked second on the tournament's top scorers list with 28 goals.
Dortmund is relying on its sporting director, Sven Mislintat, who worked with Guerrassi before in Stuttgart, to finalize his transfer deal, especially since his contract extends until the summer of 2026.
It is clear that Dortmund is ready to pay the release clause in the player’s contract, which amounts to 17.5 million euros.
Guerrassi won the German League Player of the Month award last March.
Guerrassi moved to Stuttgart last summer for 9 million euros, coming from French club Rennes.
