Australian Alex de Minaur (25 years old), ranked ninth in the world, won his second title this season by defeating American Sebastian Korda 6-2 and 6-4 in the final match of the Dutch 's-Hertogenbosch tennis tournament, held on grass courts in preparation for the English Wimbledon Championship.
The Australian, ranked first in the 250 tournament, won in one hour and 34 minutes, adding the title to the one he won in March in the Mexican tournament in Acapulco, raising his total to nine titles out of 17 final matches in his career.
By winning the title, the Australian star secured his rise in the ATP rankings to seventh place, the best ranking in his career, while Korda (23 years old) failed to win his second title after the one he won in 2021 in the Italian Parma tournament, out of seven final matches.
