Robinho: “They deceived me by having two teams in Manchester”

Robinho, the former Brazilian football star, claims that he was deceived when he moved to Manchester City in 2008. He thought he would move to Manchester United, one of the biggest clubs in the world, but he was surprised that there was another team in the same city.

Robinho, winner of 10 Golden Balls and winner of two World Cups and seven Champions Leagues, said: “They deceived me. I thought I would move to Manchester United, but then I discovered that there was another team in Manchester. I did not know that Manchester City existed.”

He added: "I was young at the time, and I did not know much about English football. I made a mistake when I did not search for Manchester City before moving."

It is noteworthy that Robinho played with Manchester City for two years, before moving to Italian Milan.
