Real Madrid celebrates its thirty-sixth title

Real Madrid celebrated among thousands of its fans the Spanish League title, and toured the streets of the capital with an open-top bus carrying the players and the championship trophy.

Real Madrid won the Spanish League title for the thirty-sixth time, four rounds before the end of the season.

Before moving on an open-top bus to Cibeles Square to celebrate with thousands of fans, club president Florentino Perez received the players and Italian technical director Carlo Ancelotti to congratulate them and shake hands with them, before presenting a copy of the club's white shirt to senior city officials.

Real President Perez shook hands with one player after another from coach Carlo Ancelotti's squad this morning at the team's training headquarters, and all the players and members of the technical staff wore white shirts bearing the number 36.
