Riegers is staying in Milan

Rising Belgian star Ferry Riegers has renewed his contract with Italian Volleyball Club Milan for three additional seasons until 2027.
The 20-year-old, who stands 2.03m tall, is currently playing his first season as a professional player outside of Belgium. He had moved to Milan from Grignard Masiek in the summer of 2023.
Ferry began to gain attention when he emerged as the top scorer in the UEFA European Under-18 and Under-20 Championships, when he was named to the Dream Team, and his team won a bronze medal. The following year, Regers was the best scorer and best striker in the 2021 Men's Volleyball U-19 World Championship. He also played for the senior national team in 2021, proving his height due to his strength and techniques that allowed him to become a key player in the first squad. Riegers is considered one of the most important emerging talents discovered who will have a great impact on the level of his Italian team and his country, Belgium.
