One of the balls from the final match of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil is scheduled to be put up for auction, for a value ranging between 40 and 60 thousand euros, according to what was confirmed by the Im Grünwald auction house in Berlin. The match ended with the German national team defeating its Argentine counterpart 1-0 and winning the World Cup title.
According to some specialized companies, the auction to sell the ball will be held on June 28, after obtaining a permit from the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).
It is noteworthy that Mario Götze scored the winning goal for the German national team in the 113th minute, leading his country to win its fourth World Cup title at the Maracanã Stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
The rest of the balls used in the final match of the World Cup on July 13, 2014 are displayed at the German Football Museum in Dortmund.
