Nottingham Forest has appointed Portuguese Nuno Espirito Santo, the former Saudi Jeddah Al-Ittihad coach, as head of the technical staff, succeeding the sacked Welshman Steve Cooper, according to what the English club announced on its pages.
Santo (49 years old) signed a two-and-a-half-year contract to return to the English Premier League, after his dismissal from Tottenham in November.
The Portuguese previously led Wolves for four years, and promoted them to the first division in his first season.
Wolverhampton ranked seventh in the second and third seasons, and reached the quarter-finals of the European League (Europa League) in the 2019-2020 season.
Nuno replaces Cuper, who failed to achieve more than one win in his last 13 league matches.
