Veteran British tennis star Andy Murray (36 years old) confirmed that he will not undergo ankle surgery, but will undergo special exercises under the supervision of a specialized physical therapist.

Murray suffered a tear in his ankle ligaments while participating in the Miami Open, during the match he lost to Tomas Machak in the third round.

A spokesman for the medical staff announced that the rehabilitation process is going well, but stressed that there is no specific date for his return to the stadiums.

As previously announced, Murray is preparing to retire at the end of this year.
