Gattuso will leave Marseille

Italian coach Gennaro Gattuso will leave Marseille after the recent loss to Brest 0-1.
Gattuso (46 years old), the former Spanish coach of Valencia, had signed a contract with Marseille instead of the Spaniard Marcelino, but he was unable to return the team to its normal position, as it had not won any match with him since the beginning of 2024.
Among the occupiers is the team's exit from all local and European competitions. This is due to the hasty and useless decisions taken by its Spanish president, Pablo Longoria (38 years old), after appointing Marcelino and then Gattuso, and the absence from the transfer market, which caused the team to decline significantly.
The separation from Gattuso will be by mutual consent between the two parties.
