Van Nistelrooy to Manchester United

Former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy has started his coaching career at the club under compatriot Erik ten Hag.

Informed sources confirmed that Van Nistelrooy has reached an agreement with the club's management to appoint him as assistant to the team's coach, Ten Hag. He has already signed a two-year contract, and the club is expected to issue an official statement within hours announcing this appointment.

Van Nistelrooy is not the only new addition to the coaching staff, as Rene Hack has also joined, both of whom are waiting for the formalities to be completed to start work.

Manchester United have begun preparations for the new season, despite the absence of many of their stars due to their commitments with their national teams in the Euro 2024 and Copa America tournaments.

It is worth noting that Van Nistelrooy previously played for Manchester United between 2001 and 2006, and scored 150 goals in 219 matches before moving to Real Madrid.
