Czech Barbora Krejcikova won the Wimbledon tennis title after defeating Italian Jasmine Paolini in an exciting final with a score of two sets to one.
Early in the match, Krejcikova, ranked 32nd in the world, dominated the first set with an easy 6-2 win. But Paolini, ranked 7th in the world, quickly regained her balance in the second set, winning by the same scoreline 6-2, which led to a decisive third set.
The two players traded points in an exciting third set until the score was tied at 3-3. But the turning point came when Krejcikova broke Paolini's serve to lead 4-3. From there, Krejcikova took control of the match, ending the set with a score of 6-4.
With this victory, Krejcikova (28 years old) achieved her second Grand Slam title, after winning the French Open in 2021.
