Courtois leaves Real Madrid again

Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, Real Madrid's goalkeeper, underwent knee cartilage surgery during the past few days, according to what was announced by the Spanish club Real Madrid, due to a tear in the internal meniscus of the right knee.

Courtois played 230 matches with the Spanish club, keeping a clean sheet in 91 matches, while conceding 219 goals.

For his part, an official medical source confirmed that Courtois will be absent for two months after the surgery.
