Is Conte very close to Munich?

Italian press reports confirmed that Bayern Munich officials are moving seriously to sign Antonio Conte, the former Tottenham coach, next summer.

According to these sources, the Bavarian team’s management has already contacted Conte to persuade him to succeed Tuchel next season.

The Italian coach has been absent from work for a year, after he left Tottenham Hotspur in March 2023 by terminating the contract by mutual consent.

The same sources indicated that Conte is now the first choice on the Bavarian administration's list of candidates to coach the team next season.

She explained that Conte had previously refused to coach Bayern, and he is now more convinced than ever that he wants to lead a club in Italy, so that he can be closer to his family.

She stated that Juventus and Milan are the realistic options for Conte next season, if he wants to work in Serie A.
