Kerr wins high jump gold

New Zealander Hamish Kerr won the high jump gold at the World Indoor Athletics Championships, after achieving a world record of 2.36 meters in Glasgow.
After winning gold, Kerr added two centimeters to his personal best, setting a world record. This victory made Kerr the third New Zealander to win a world indoor title.
Kerr, a 2022 World Championship bronze medalist in Belgrade and Commonwealth Games champion, has extensive experience in major tournaments.
