Liverpool negotiates with Feyenoord to obtain the services of its coach

Dutch media reported that Liverpool wants to sign Feyenoord coach Arne Sloat (45 years old) to succeed Jurgen Klopp.

Slot was heavily linked with a possible move to Tottenham Hotspurs last year, but he preferred to stay and extended his contract with Feyenoord.

Slot received wide praise for his innovative style and the attacking football he plays with his Dutch team, as he won the league title in the 2022-2023 season, in addition to the Dutch Cup last week.

In his first season with Feyenoord Rotterdam, he led them to the final of the first edition of the European Conference League.
