Mats Hummels joins Roma

Italian club Roma has officially announced the signing of German defender Mats Hummels on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund.

Hummels (33 years old) is considered one of the best defenders in the world, and has achieved many accomplishments during his career, including:

Bundesliga title with Borussia Dortmund (2011, 2012),

German Cup (2012 and 2021),

World Cup with Germany (2014),

He also won 3 German League titles with Bayern in the years (2017, 2018, 2019), in addition to one German Cup title in the year (2019).

Hummels is a strong addition to Roma's defence as the club seeks to regain its place among Italy's top clubs.
