Manchester United closes Ugarte deal

English club Manchester United have officially announced the signing of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte in a record deal worth £57 million.

The Uruguayan player signed a five-season contract, until 2029.

Ugarte (23 years old) is considered one of the best young midfielders in the world, as he shone with Paris Saint-Germain last season, and succeeded in imposing himself in the team's starting lineup.

Manchester United management is counting on Ugarte's great abilities to strengthen the midfield and raise the team's level in various tournaments.

This deal is considered a strong blow by Manchester United to its rivals in the English Premier League, as it indicates the Red Devils' strong return to the competition for titles.
