Manchester United saves its season by winning the FA Cup

Manchester United saved its season, and ensured its participation in the Europa League competition, by winning the FA Cup for the first time since 2016, and the 13th in its history, by defeating its arch-neighbor Manchester City, the league champion, 2-1, at Wembley Stadium.

After City was the first team to win the league four times in a row, and was a candidate to become the first to win the league and cup double for two seasons in a row, United surprised them and avenged their loss in last year’s final 1-2, by defeating them with goals from Argentine Alejando Garnacho in the 30th minute and Kobe Maino in the 30th minute.
