New European stadium

After meetings between officials of the Genoa and Sampdoria teams, work began on preparing the necessary documents in order to establish a company whose ownership would be divided equally between them. This company will buy the Luigi Ferraris Stadium first, then it will take over its entire management. After that, the company will rehabilitate it, expand its stands, and make it conform to the specifications of UEFA stadiums, which will give it the opportunity to host the EuroLeague or Conference League finals. The construction work on the stadium will range between 70-80 million euros, paid equally between Genoa and Sampdoria. The work will take approximately three years, and it is possible to begin work on it at the beginning of next summer. This stadium will inevitably be one of the Euro 2032 stadiums that Italy and Turkey will host.
