Neuer in the 500 Club

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer played his 500th match for the club, against Offenheim in the German League this season. He is in tenth place with Bastian Schweinsteiger in terms of players who have played the most with the Bavarian club, behind Sepp Maier, the leader (706), his current teammate Thomas Müller (686), or Beckenbauer, fifth (582).

The giant goalkeeper (1.93 m) also kept a clean sheet in 240 matches in the Bundesliga.
