White replaces Leonard in US national team

The United States Basketball Association announced that Los Angeles Clippers star Kawhi Leonard will be replaced by Boston Celtics player Derrick White on the United States national basketball team roster for the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.

White, 27, is one of the best shooters in the NBA, averaging 17.1 points, 4.4 assists and 3.5 rebounds last season.

White is expected to be a strong addition to the U.S. team, which is seeking to win its fifth consecutive gold medal and its 17th overall.
