Golfer Grayson Murray dies

The North American Golf Association said in a statement that American golfer Grayson Murray died at the age of 30, a day after he withdrew from the Charles Schwab Championship due to illness in Fort Worth, Texas.

The late Murray won the Sony Open earlier this year, the last tournament he won.

After winning the Sony Open title, Murray advanced to 46th place in the world, which is the highest ranking he has reached throughout his career.

The association did not reveal the cause of death.
