Asia is run wisely

Japanese referee Yoshimi Yamashita became the first woman to officiate a match in the Asian Nations Finals, during the scheduled match between Australia and India in the tournament scheduled in Qatar, in a precedent in the history of the continental tournament that began 68 years ago.
Yamashita (37 years old) has a great record in refereeing matches, as she was the first to referee a match in the Japanese League in 2022, and she was the chief referee for the opening match of the Women’s World Cup that took place between Australia and New Zealand in 2023, and she has also held the international badge since 2015. She is one of five female referees participating in the eighteenth edition of the Asian Nations.
