The Lebanese Olympic Committee will hold an "extraordinary" general assembly at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 12, at the committee's headquarters in the Baabda-Hadath area. The agenda will have one item: discussing and approving the reconciliation agreement between the two parties to the dispute with the Olympic Committee throughout the past period. This includes dropping lawsuits and lifting administrative suspension penalties for sports federations and figures. The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. George Kallas, is scheduled to attend the general assembly at the invitation of the Olympic Committee, which was extended to him by a delegation from the Executive Committee that recently visited him to bless the agreement.
