Polishing and happiness to the Asian Olympic General Assembly

The President of the Lebanese Olympic Committee, Dr. Pierre Jalkh, and the member of the Executive Committee, Treasurer, Attorney Francois Saadeh, left for the Indian city of Delhi to attend the 44th General Assembly, which will be held on Sunday morning, September 8, and is dedicated to electing the President and members of the Executive Office for a new term.

The agenda also includes the election of vice-presidents for the regions of East, Southeast, South, Central and West Asia, noting that the date of this electoral general assembly was approved after the approval of the new constitution of the Council at the 43rd General Assembly held last May in the Thai city of Bangkok and at the 85th Executive Office meeting.

It is worth noting that Indian Raja Randhir Singh, the current acting president of the Olympic Council of Asia, is the only candidate for the presidency with the support of 27 National Olympic Committees.
