Diab hands over the Adnan Al-Sharqi Award to Federation President Hashem Haider

The President of the Adnan Al-Sharqi Foundation, the former MP and former President of Al-Ansar Club, Salim Diab, accompanied by his son Saif, visited the Lebanese Football Association, where the President of the Federation, Mr. Hashem Haidar, in the presence of the Federation’s Secretary General, Jihad Al-Shahf, presented the Lebanese League Top Scorer Award, which bears the name of the Adnan Al-Sharqi Award, which he will award. Al-Ittihad is the top scorer in the tournament after the end of the final stage. He also handed over the sum of three thousand dollars, which is the financial prize that will also be presented to the top scorer.

The president of the union considered this initiative very valuable for two reasons: first, it preserves the name of the late Adnan Al-Sharqi, and second, it motivates others to undertake similar valuable initiatives. Pointing out that Adnan Al-Sharqi is a sports leader for all of Lebanon.

In turn, Secretary-General Jihad Al-Shahf thanked the former president of Al-Ansar, Salim Diab, for this initiative, which is a support for Lebanese football and a step by which a person can grow.
