Lebanon in the Arab Union General Assembly

The Lebanese Handball Federation participated in the General Assembly of the Arab Federation at the invitation of its President Fadel bin Ali Al Nimr, which was held in Iraq, with a delegation composed of Vice President Abdullah Assaf and Federation member Hassan Kawtharani.

The Lebanese Federation was welcomed by its Arab and Iraqi counterparts, as it received a large share of attention, with the latter’s promises, headed by Ahmed Al-Obaidi, to provide all facilities and hosting for the Lebanese national team with the aim of enabling it to participate in the upcoming tournaments and to hold training and refinement courses for Lebanese referees and coaches, and everything necessary for the return of football. The Lebanese hand to rise again and benefit from the successful Iraqi experience.

The Lebanese Federation thanked its Arab counterpart for its invitation, wishing him success, and also thanked its Iraqi counterpart for the distinguished hosting.
