Lebanon's national volleyball team qualifies for the semi-finals of the West Asian Youth Championship

The Lebanese U-20 volleyball team achieved a great accomplishment by qualifying for the semi-finals of the West Asian Youth Championship, hosted by the Al Ain Club Hall in the United Arab Emirates from August 14 to 25. This well-deserved qualification came after Lebanon defeated its Kuwaiti counterpart (3-1) in an exciting match, which witnessed a clear superiority for the Cedars.

During the first round of the tournament, the Lebanese team showed a strong performance, defeating the Palestinian and Jordanian teams with a score of (3-0) each, before stumbling against the Saudi team, which won with a score of (3-0), and losing with difficulty to the host, the UAE team, with a score of (3-2).

With this qualification, the Cedars team continues its journey in the tournament with great hopes of reaching the final match and achieving a long-awaited title, in light of the distinguished performance shown by the players during these competitions.
