The Lebanese Shooting and Hunting Federation organized the third stage of the Lebanese Olympic Trap Shooting Championship for category (A) Excellent for the year 2024, at the Safra Shooting and Hunting Club field, with the participation of 29 shooters. The competition was attended by Dr. Pierre Jalakh, President of the Olympic Committee and the Lebanese Shooting Federation.
After the qualifying rounds that included 125 plates, the top six shooters qualified for the final stage according to the new system adopted by the International Shooting Sport Federation. The final competition witnessed the brilliance of shooter Ahmed Daakour, who won first place after hitting 44 plates out of 50, slightly ahead of Ghassan Baaklini, who scored 43 hits, while Alain Moussa came in third place with 34 hits.
The tournament was refereed by Tony El Khoury, who led the competition with precise organization and high professionalism, emphasizing the Lebanese Federation’s continued provision of distinguished competitions at the national level.
