Gold medal for Ray Basil in the World Shooting Cup

Olympic shooter Rae Bassil won the gold medal in the World Cup in the Trap Dishes Shooting Championship, which was held in the Azerbaijani capital, Baku.

In the qualifiers, Basil scored 114 out of 125. In the semi-finals, she scored 44 out of 50.

Australian Bunny Smith came in second place, and Italian Erika Sessa came in third place.

This competition comes as part of Bassil's preparations for the finals of the Paris Olympics this summer.
