Beirut to win the Rugby Union title

The third and final stage of the Lebanese Rugby Union Ishrat Championship begins on Wednesday evening at 8:30 pm at Al-Ahed Stadium, Airport Road, which is organized by the Lebanese Rugby Union and supervised by the Federation’s Director, Marwan Azar. The leader, the Beirut team, will be a strong candidate to win the championship title after scoring four consecutive victories in the first and second rounds, obtaining the full score: 12 points. While its competitor, the Sharks team, is looking forward to 10 points to continue its good results and share the lead with the Beirut team if it succeeds in defeating them. As for Al Raya team, with 6 points, it seeks to record a new victory in the tournament, as it stayed away from competing for the title. Al Ahed team remains with 4 points without any victory, due to the lack of experience of its players in Rugby Union competitions.
