Lebanese swimmers achieved a remarkable accomplishment by setting 7 local records in the World Swimming Championships (25-meter pool), held in the Hungarian capital, Budapest, at the end of the penultimate day of competition.
Swimmer Lynn Al-Hajj excelled by breaking 3 records, while Munther Kabbara achieved two records, and Simon Al-Duwaihi and Talin Murad each recorded one record.
The championship is expected to conclude on Sunday with the participation of Simone Douaihy in the 200-meter freestyle race, and Talin Murad in the 200-meter backstroke race, amid hopes of achieving more honorable results for Lebanon on the international stage.
