Cedar Women reach the West Asian semi-finals

The Lebanese women's national team qualified for the semi-finals of the West Asian Football Championship, after defeating its Saudi counterpart with a score of (3-2), in the match that took place between them at the reserve stadium of King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.
The Cedar Women imposed their rhythm from the opening whistle, and the many opportunities they created were quickly translated into two quick goals, which were scored in succession by Christy Maalouf in the third minute, Nouf Saud by mistake in her own goal in the 7th minute, before Cynthia Salha added the third goal in the 38th minute.
In the second half, Saudi women were able to reduce the difference through Lana Abdel Razzaq and Saba Tawfiq.
